R&D FOCUS SUSTAINABLE CREATIVITY

Continual investment in research and development has allowed Panchic to remain at the forefront during its first 10 years of activity. Faithful to its vision, the objectives set by the company for the future are ambitious, especially in terms of responsibility and sustainability. Through a project of internal reorganization, management of processes and short production chain, Panchic aims to interpret responsible design practices that combine style, innovation, performance, durability and environmental compatibility, establishing for each of the company divisions objectives that are not only productive but also are a qualitative and quantitative measurement of the environmental impact generated. A shared vision also ensures greater fluidity of processes.

Materials

MATERIALS

Panchic obtains raw materials from producers located within the European Union, of which most are based in Italy with a large part located in the immediate vicinity of the company, in order to optimize the cost of logistics for both goods and staff. Leather and suede in particular represent the core business and key raw material for the company, followed by plain and quilted nylon. Other key materials include linen, coated leather, ripstop nylon, nabuk, canvas, neoprene, terry, as well as low environmental impact solutions such as recycled leather, sustainably tanned suede, organic cotton and leather.

In line with its responsible design ethos, the company is also committed to increasing the provision of fibres and materials that meet internationally recognized standards such as GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and GRS (Global Recycle Standard) in order to ensure that its supply chain is environmentally sustainable. Thanks to the integrated business model, the company is also attentive to recycling and circular economy solutions through the recovery of its production waste and warehouse leftovers.
